How ranking works

Who can appear

Only firms that have joined ConveyMatch, passed our checks, published an approved fee schedule, are currently accepting new instructions, and can handle your transaction type and location. If you're using a mortgage, the firm must have confirmed that it's on your lender's panel.

This is a limited panel of participating firms. We don't claim to cover the whole market.

Default order

Lowest estimated total first (including VAT and listed disbursements). If two firms have exactly the same total, they're ordered alphabetically so the order never changes randomly.

Sorting by reviews

You can sort by Trustpilot or by Google rating. Only ratings we've checked against the source page count — firms without a verified rating on that platform appear after rated firms. We never merge Google and Trustpilot into one score, and we show the date each rating was checked.

What we never do

• Sell higher positions or "featured" placements
• Invent or estimate ratings, or scrape review sites
• Hide a firm's extra charges to make its price look lower

Referral fees

Participating firms pay ConveyMatch a fixed monthly membership fee. We don't take referral or completion fees, and membership never affects the order of results. The firm's disclosure is shown before you send your request.
