How it works
From quote to qualified conveyancer
ConveyMatch helps home movers in England and Wales compare conveyancing quotes from participating firms, then introduces you to the firm you choose.
1. Answer a few questions
Tell us whether you're buying, selling, doing both, remortgaging or transferring equity. We'll ask about the price, tenure (freehold or leasehold), whether you're using a mortgage and which lender, and a few details that change the legal work — like new build, shared ownership or gifted deposits. Each question explains why it matters.
2. Compare itemised quotes
We calculate each eligible firm's estimate from the fee schedule they published and we approved. Every result shows the estimated total including VAT and listed disbursements, with a full itemised breakdown, exclusions and assumptions. You don't need to give your contact details to see prices.
If your case needs something a firm hasn't priced — for example an uncommon type of finance — we won't show £0. We'll ask you to request a manual quote instead.
3. Choose a firm
When you choose a firm, we ask for your name, email and phone number, and your consent to pass your request on. Your request comes to ConveyMatch first. The firm must accept and carry out its checks before the instruction is confirmed. We save an exact copy of the quote you saw so it can't change afterwards.
4. The firm takes it from there
Once we've reviewed your request, we release it to the firm. They'll contact you, carry out identity and anti-money-laundering checks, and send their own client care letter. You pay the firm directly — ConveyMatch never takes payment from you.
Things to know
- We compare a limited panel of participating firms, not the whole market.
- Rankings aren't paid for. Read how ranking works.
- We may receive a referral fee from the firm you choose. It's disclosed before you send your request and doesn't change the price shown.
